I have more than 15 years of experience leading strategic communications and working as a journalist. I am currently a Vice President at The Lead PR, where I channel my experience working behind the scenes in media to help nonprofit clients tell impactful stories.
I previously worked at The Associated Press In New York City, where I managed major international breaking news stories. I have also reported on climate change, national security, politics, and criminal justice. As the Director of Communications and Digital Products for the Center for NYC Neighborhoods, I worked with the New York Governor’s Office to lead the statewide campaign for a $539 million Covid relief. The program helped thousands of homeowners avoid losing their homes to foreclosure.
I have a Master’s degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. I was born in Mexico and grew up in Colorado. I currently live in Philadelphia.
